Question Questions about tires and rims

I have a question aout what the best size rims and tires to go with. I have a 2007 QC with the stock 20s and I would rather get a smaller size and put some off-road tires on. I was thinking either 15 or 17 with 31s.

I am not looking to take it off road or muddin', but I like the look of the beefier tires. to me, 20s would just be too big.

Any suggestions on which size I should go with?

The smallest size wheel you can go with is 17's.......15's will not fit......

As far as the tires go.....BFG's All Terrain tires are real popular and are awesome tires......I had a pair....those BFG's can take good punishment...and make little noise on the high way.......

33's will fit fine with a leveling kit............

your current tire size is 33". the stock tire size with 17" rims is 31.5 or 31.75. 31"s will look too small. Go with 33" tires if you can.

Go with 17" rims, and for tires I suggest Kumho road venture, or Toyo open country A/T

Thanks, I was thinking the same exact thing. Looks like I'll be shopping around for some 33x17s. Any suggestions for the best place to look?

I have 305/65/17's M/T ATZ's. My rims are 17x10 with 4" back space. You can look at my pics to see what they look like to give you some idea.By the way, I got my tires and rims from JEGGS mounted and balanced.

with 17s 11.5 will be great on a 9" wide rim, maybe even lower. 8 would probably work, but wouldn't be ideal.

get 17x9s with a 4-4.5" backspace and mount a 33x12.5 on them, good aggressive stance and just the right size to fill a tire well with plenty of room for full turn and some flex.
Look at the Toyo Open Country A/Ts or the Mickey Thompson ATZs for a great performer that will last you 60k miles easy...
