I see you bought a warranty from a third party.... read through the contracts I don't think anyone can tell you not to do your own work and they can only void the warranty due to a reason that could be brought back to you doing the work improperly.

Good luck with the BBB. I have a situation going on myself with some Crappy body work and the BBB told me that unless the business is a member of the BBB that all they can do is make a recommendation to the owner of the business. As far as the lawyer goes, that is working out great for me. He has the guy that has ripped me off against the ropes. I am not a real big fan of using lawyers, but sometimes you don't have a choice when you know you have been wronged and people that wronged you just wont listen. Good luck...

The outcome
So he phoned and told my wife he would be here today at 5:30 to fix the problem and that he was going to bring his own gasket and oil. So he said he was going to use a fram gasket set and at lordco the set runs at 62.99 and he wasadding on another 22.00 to make more money. So my wife answered the phone and she said we will pick the gasket set cause we are not giving any extra money, after she said that he started yelling at my wife and then she hung up on him. So I said enough and I went to a trans shop and they fixed it for me at a nice price of $65.00
But I am not done with this guy at all, The bad part for him is I do know where he lives and his time is coming.
I have my own buss. also. I am a painter for 15 years and I would never do anything what he has done.
And he also put in new plugs and now the engine even misses at idle so now I got to figure this out.
