^Thanks for the input! I might have to think this over some....

Dedogg: I got the generic "FatMat" from ebay. 100sqft goes for 100-130 bucks, and I laid it everywhere...Behind the seats, under the carpet & headliner, in the dash...and A LOT in the doors. The doors are especially bad and need extra attention. 100 sqft is more than enough, and you probably could get away with 50, cuz I found myself with like 20 sqft left and just put more in the doors. It makes a HUGE difference, and is low cost. I just put Terra Grapplers on the truck, and there is still very little road noise and NO exhaust drone. I love it.

RamHunter1: I used DuPont PR4 and DuPont Clear. I am happy with it, but I plan on going back with another coat of clear and wetsand to work out some less polished spots.

So I am guess you pulled the doors panels off and just laid it thick behind there right? Did you put it behind the speaker holes? How much of a pain was it to get the head liner off and put back on? Did you have to take the entire dash out, or did you just put the mat where you could reach from under neath?

thanks for the info, i think I am gonna do this real soon. I sprayed the under belly of my truck when I had some left over wheel well spray and it helped with some noise.

Good idea on that... Basically does the same thing.

Yes, the ENTIRE door is lined 2x over, including behind the speaker. On the outer panel and inner panel....here is a pic in fact:

I did not take the whole dash out, but take some time and lay as much mat there as possible....I thought of this after the fact, but you can put it on the other side of the firewall, too. I should have done that with some of my leftovers.
