Default Driver side noise

Im not really sure how to describe the noise but ill do my best. I have a 02 4x4 1500 that has been making noise from the front driver side, I think it may be coming from the cv joint but im not sure, When i Slow down from say doing 50 km it will hum and in what sounds like a circular motion, (wheel still turning) and has a shimmy that goes along with it. This is what caught my attention. So i roll down the window and at slow speeds and when i slow down i can hear a straining noise (also a sounds to be in a circilar motion. This i s bothering me because when i have the torsion bars cranked to have the truck level, the noise and shimmy are still there but to a less extent, but when i lower the bars to try to keep the angles not as sharp then it gets worse. Any ideas???

yea thats what it is (wheel bearing) cuz mine is starting go too and I have the 2002 2wd ram. its not too noticable but I checked the tire the other day buy jacking it up and I could move the wheel holding top and bottom maybe 1/8" (might be exagerating) but it was a little loose. So i will be changing mine too. maybe you could tell me how much urs was and where u got it from.

But when I turn, it sounds like scraping or something (no tire rub). I dont know if anyone could help me there....anyone have this problem?

sorry to jack ur thread man but it was kinda related.

I replaced both of mine last fall. Heard many different ways to get them out, I used a BFH and a chisel.
