Default cold air intake

im looking at a Volant cold air intake and i was woundering if ne one else has a cold air intake, what kind, the good&bad, and wat kind did u install on ur truck

yeah kinda new to this whole foums thing havent really checked out the FAQ's yett. and that is a kickass intake i like the lettering on the box

I got the spectre intake from airram.com, it's a clone of the mopar/AEM brute force intakes, but cheaper. I like it and it gave me a decent bump in power. When looking at intakes price was an issue for me since they all perform pretty close to one another.

You know, your not going to see a huge difference between the different intakes. To me came down to what I liked the most as far as looks, and what worked out for me as far as price range. I too went with the Spectre intake from airram. It has a 4" polished tube, with a cone open element filter. It looks good, sounds good, and married with other mods saw a bump in MPG. heres a pic...

K and N 57 series. increased power, awsome sounding, not much in the way of mpg gain.
