Default Semi took out my mirror!!!

Well first let me start by saying that I am in no way disrespecting the hard working truckers out there.

However this a$$hole should have his license revoked!!!

I was driving down the interstate today in the left hand lane, overtaking a semi. The driver got distracted by something and came over into my lane, taking out my passenger side mirror and running me off the road. The trucker veered back into his lane and kept on going.... I got back on the interstate and took off after him, flashing my headlights and honking my horn, he acknowledged by giving me the finger and kept driving. I jotted down his tag number and pulled off the intestate and gave my report.....

No big damage, lost a mirror and it rattled my nerves. Probably wouldn't have even involved the cops had the trucker pulled over and talked with me about it, however that was not the case... Oh well, time for those tow mirrors I had been looking at...

sorry that had to happen but hey, it could have been worse, you could have been injured.
the driver probably didnt even realize he ran you off the road
well, at least now you have an excuse for some tow mirrors.

Sounds like tow mirrors to me. I have a link for a great price on mirrors if you want it. I believe they are $297... power heated and brand spanking new

Oh yeah I know, I'm definitely lucky on this one, that I had some nice grass to run off into instead of a cement embankment or something along that lines... The driver did see what he did, I was laying on the horn as he was pushing me off the road, and he veered back into his lane when he saw me.... It just aggravated me that he was such a d!ck about it when he knew he was in the wrong...

Id call the highway patrol/police tell them that you were just involved in a hit and run with a semi and will be following his *** untill they showed up.... That sucks but it could have been alot worse than just the mirror being hit.

Having the tag number won't help you much unless you can identify the driver.
