Default 04 Ram1500 4x4 lower ball joint

I learned today that i have to replace mine soon. Is this an easy thing to do at home? I guess what i want to know is what holds the ball joint in place? is it pressed in? also i have heard stories of people adding grease fittings to the ball joint itself. anyone know anything about this?

Im not sure how easy it is, but i just had my upper and lower ball joints done. I believe my lower were installed wrong, or defective, so ill have to be taking that back soon. Anyways, my extended warranty covered the upper control arm/ball joints and a wheel align. The total was around $750 and I paid out of pocket for the lower which was about $380. Both my upper and lower joints are now moog and they have the grease fittings. I looked it up before all this was done, and I think you have to dissasemle the front end to replace the joints, but I could be wrong.
