Default 2"level hell on wheels?

Hey,
im thinkin of putting a leveling kit on my 06 1500 4x4 but im hearing alot of horror stories about wobble and stuff, any input would help.

I do know that when you put on a leveling kit, you need to get an alignment done on your vehicle. Many people here have done a leveling kit, so I'd suggest getting an alignment afterwords.

really?longer shocks? I thought the stock shocks were fine

they are fine and will work but the ride will be bumpy and rough...

And you might not get any lift out of it. I think they'll just keep your truck down until you replace the shocks.

so you guys hear anything about this wobble on some 4x4 trucks after leveling?

yes, but it seems to be hit and miss. My buddy has the same front end leveling kit that i have, and his is fine. mine however has a very bad shudder in 4x4 hi mode, at all speeds, but worse while accellerating.

it sucks! i think part of the problem is the inner CV joints. They can only handle up to ~15 degrees of pinion angle. The leveling kit put them at more than 15 degrees. I am planning to buy a set of KORE hi angle inner CV joints and change them out. If that takes care of the shudder problem I will let everyone know.

Yea, let us know. I'm looking at buying an 07 or 08 and putting a leveling kit on it.
