yup. that's what a forum is all about, learn what's what from others that are doing it. i might by a set this week myself. and I think we all lean towards the 500 because it's very easy to upgrade once you have the actual light.

like 04fourseven said, a little wire, another fuse, another switch, what does that come out to, ~$10 maybe? lights cost $40 shipped, + $10 and he's got 100W AUX lights.

Heres the link. Walmart sells same package for $20 more.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-H...Q5fAccessories

Ramhunter...

Lights $39
Switch $5
In line fuse $3
Wire, connectors, steel $0, had it
" " On an expensive trip, figure $25 or so.
100w bulbs $8 each OR if you can wait http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-H...Q5fAccessories

I love the setup. Ive been wanting a set ever since I joined this cursed forum. Im glad I finally bit the bullet and bought em. Im truly happy with them. Earlier I posted I might change the in line fuse, but think I will just roll with it, 'till the wheels fall off'.

I guess the next question is, what am I going to hook up to my dummy switch? Another set of hellas on a four light fabbed mount? hhhhmmmmm...

I would like to see a comparison shot between the light from the stock bulbs and when you upgrade to the 100w bulb. Basically, I want to see if it is worth it to upgrade to 100w bulbs before I get into installing my lights.
