Ok, the moment you have all been waiting for, as if youve never seen Hellas before... haha

A quick rundown...

Upgraded to 14 gauge wire to allow for higher wattage bulbs, installed an in line fuse, and upgraded to a 30A rocker switch. My final wiring goes as follows; battery to fuse, fuse to switch, grounded switch to grounded lights. They work beautifully.

new switch is on the left, and the right is a dummy. While i had the dash apart i decided to install my other switch to eliminate some hassle if i decided to install something else

The only thing I will change is MAYBE the in line fuse. Dont think I like that style, and Im going to wire loom everything. I have the loom, just havent done it yet. Thanks for looking guys!!!

 

Why does everyone ride Hella so hard on these boards?

 

looks good man. im gonne see how mine look in the dark and then ill decide if i want to upgrade for 25 bucks more. thats the same switch i bought today but mine is blue. i was gonna mount it there but didnt want to mess up cutting the dash...

 

bc we found a guy that sells them cheap. and is that a problem anyway???

No, I'm just wondering why everyone here exclusively runs Hella as if they're sponsored.

IMO, there's a lot better out there than Wal-mart specials.

You can buy Hella's at Walmart now.

They're nice lights don't get me wrong, I was just curious why everyone here uses only Hella.

There's no PIAA or KC to be found anywhere on here.
