Default I want to drop the rear!! Blasphemy I know.

Ok guys I am about to commit a crime. I got to thinking, I really will never lift the truck, But I want to level it. I realize I can crank the bars, However I was actually thinking of dropping the rear instead, as I have no interest in clearing anything bigger than 33" tire.

So how bad do you think it would hurt the function if I dropped the rear 3" or so, Put some 275/70/17 A/t tires and new bilstein shocks with some black and chrome 17" wheels? Do you think I would be able to still do some light 4 wheelin?

I want to drop mine as well. Do they make 2" rear drops for 4x4s?

I dropped my 4x4's *** 2" and love it. I got 2" drop shackles from www.slammed1.com and then had the overload springs removed.

I don't feel to bad, Im not actually lowering it, Just dropping its big butt. I was just thinkning I don't really want to pur 35's on it, So I was thinkning it might actually look better if I dropped the rear and put the 32 - 33's on it. And if RaiderJay's truck is any indication, It will look great.

BTW, your truck looks sharp RaiderJay, Why the diff between winter and summer?

Hammer, I was joining you in hell long before I ever considered lowering my truck, Lowering just puts me at a lower circle, I figure im in the 6th circle by now with one more to go.

Is there a reason that you don't use A/T all the time?

And to those who don't like my idea, It could be worse. I could do this http://springfield.craigslist.org/cto/1087870425.html
