Spark plugs for HEMI
#11
thats all they have to last on the hemi. 30000 and the factory calls for replacement. Stock champions from napa and change em every 30000 mi is the way to go. or you can spend alot more per plug, and still change em out at 30000. i did champions on mine and my buddys' 06.

ok so i know that the hemi/poly (lol) has 16 spark plugs. i dont really understand it but whatever. my question is when i was looking at spark plugs on line it reccomended different plugs for the "waste spark ignition". do i need different plugs? or will regular plugs work all the way around?

Yeah reg all the way around. When I changed mine for the first time,I bought the truck used and changed the plugs right after I bought it, there were Champions under the coil packs and Bosch Platnum +4's on the wires I guess the previous owner didn't know there were plugs under the coil packs cuz you could tell the champs were original

They are a very good plug too, but the only ones that I saw listed for the Hemi are platinum plugs and the Hemi runs best on copper core.
This is one reason why I am going with NGK over Autolites actually. Well, that and I have heard good things about the NGKs in the Hemi and they worked well in my other vehicles.

Champion Spark Plugs
I have had the same set of Champion Copper Plus spark plugs for over 80,000 miles and still running great. Shouldn't that speak for itself. Those who like NGK or Bosch think that if they cost more they must be better, I don't think so. Also, you are supporting companies outside of the United States. Champion has been around for a very long time with a positive reputation. The manufacture use Champion because they are reliable in quality and a great value.
