hmm, I guess my truck would then be a big horn if it was down south. does this merit a big horn badge?

Yours is a Sport, xfeejayx. It has painted bumpers and grill surround.

The 06-08 have the same front end there, cowgirl!!! The only difference is the headlight assembly on the 06 has a yellow stripe across the bottom. The 07/08 do not. The 07/08 have the euro looking tail lights and the 08 only says RAM on the door, no 1500, as well as if it is a Big Horn edition, there is no Big Horn on the doors, just a emblem on the tailgate on the 08 only.

the 08+ was a typo - I did mean 09+ - while the 06-08 have the same front end - the 08 has just the RAM badge not the "Ram 1500" Badge - I hate that new badge IMO. I know its a cosmetic thing but I'm female with borderline OCD... you expect anything different? *laughs*

The headlights don't matter much to me, cause Im going to probably put night runners in them, that is on the "I may if I feel like it" list - That amber stripe isnt a issue with me.

I'm looking for SLT Trim, I don't want leather, and I know the 17" factory rims I want are a STD choice on the SLT as well. I'm not picky/high maintance at all!!

I see on the typo. That makes more sense now

I like the 08 RAM only. Easier to wax around

I do kinda like the 06 lights with the amber strip. But I think they actually light up, do they not? Mines not wired for that.

I wanna say yes, but dont quote me on that, the pics I have thus far that I have actually done sigs with are either 06 during the day, or Dakota's so I cant say for sure, and then outside of that I have only seen a Ram in person at night two or three times, and that is the ram in my album with my Balt/in my sig, I dont count or pay that close attention when I have seen Rams on the road at night when traveling between CO/KS & OK cause I dont need to run into someone!!

...but if it does if I switched out the lights to nightrunners, I would make sure the amber stayed, cause nightrunner on black behind a black powdercoat 1pc grille guard, with that just lit up, take a pic of that = AWESOMENESS!!

I looked in the LMC truck catalog, there is a small bulb that goes in behind the yellow strip. It looks like a #194 bulb. Unique light for the 06 only.

Big horn is just a name for the options that lxman spoke of, which is on and SLT not Laramie. I don't live down south and I have a Big horn also. And if you put 5 Big horns side by side they would all have different apperance opts, and or packages.
