Those tires look amazing, and from what I have read on this site and others...this would be the tire to replace the "goodyears".

As for the price, that too is amazing!!! I will have to check what the currency exchange is and head down. WOW.

Thumbs up

Well I was unable to head down the US.
So I did more research & bargain hunting here in Ontario.

I ended up ordering the Toyo Open Country A/T’s. The best price that I could find in my area was $271 per tire = $1084.
Everyone else was asking $319.75-$339.47! That would be crazy!

Got the phone call today that they were here and tomorrow (Friday) I will be picking them up & having them installed.

So…what would be a proper way of saying GOOD BYE to the Goodyear’s?
a) Chop them up and make them into seats for the kids swing set?
b) Take them to the tire dump and feel good about the environment?
c) Do a smoke show…and then take them to the tire dump and feel good about BOTH?

Thank you all for helping out. I will post some pictures after the tire installation.

Smoke Show duh. Than make swing for the kids. Its a win win. You get to burn them off and the kids get new toys.

Good tire choice, probably the only tire I'd consider other than Dick Cepek or Mickey Thompson would be a Toyo...

Anyone hear anything (good or bad) about the Pirelli Scorpion ATR? I've done quite a bit of online research and it sounds like a good tire (better than the Michelins that came on my truck, anyway.) It snows quite a bit where I live, so winter performance is definitely relevant to me.

I'm surprised noone likes the Michelin 285-55-R20 LTX A/T2 tires.

I bought them because they were one of a few semi-aggressive 10-ply tires you could get for our 20" rims.

They are smaller in height, topping at 32-3/4" tall, but I work construction and wanted a tire that would take nails like a champ.

Also, they give me a 100,000km warranty, replaced with a brand new one, even at 99,999kms. So how can you go wrong with that??

I am at 65,000 on them, and they still look and drive great. Price was 270CAD each.
