Default arghh! superglue problem!!!!! h3lp!!!!!

ok i have a mtx thunder 6000 componet system in my truck.
today i moved the tweeters to the lil spot in the top of the door panel by the mirror, above the lil infinity tag.
cut the holes, superglued the tweeter holder thing in the door, and now i have superglue residue on my door panel because my sister-in-law made my vodka and mt.dew too strong.lol
so my question is, does anyone know how to remove superglue residue from the plastic door panel without messing up the plastic?

btw: my stereo sounds soo much better! just have a lil bit of white residue leftover!
help!

You can try a mild acetone (such as nail polish remover). It should be safe on the plastic, but you might want to test it in a hidden spot first.

Agree on the acetone, and testing in a hidden spot, but also make sure you rinse really well when done.

You might also want to try rubbing alcohol or "Goo Gone" first as they are both a bit more gentle.

I would start with Goo Gone or rubing alcohol first too, start mild and work your way up to you take care of it. +2 on test area.

Goo Gone is fine, that's the orange smelling one in the plastic bottle, but don't use Goof Off, the one in the metal container, as that will damage your plastic.

Nevr-Dull as in the bane of enlisted military the world over? That stuff is nasty on the hands. I'd be worried about it on plastic.
