Does anybody know it the Recon Taillight is a direct plug and play??

I want a pair of tails and the third brake light.

the third brake light is plug and play. As far as the taillights I know for 08's you have to do some re-wiring, but for 06's I am not sure. If you go to their website you can download the installation instructions and that should tell you if they will be plug and play. Good luck

 

Yea i was on there website and there is no instructions on the install for the 06. I just sent them a email to them so i should hear back within 24 hours. They had instructions for the 08s and i saw where they needed to do the re-wiring.

no worries...hopefully it will be plug and play. I ordered a pair for my truck not looking forward to rewiring.

 

don't have a pair myself but everything I have looked at becuase I am also thinking about getting a set looks like they are just plug n play

check out ebay, they have the same exact tails on there that Recon has for a fraction of the price. Thay are made by the same company, plus the have the plug and play application for the 06-08 modles. I bought a set for 130 shipped

 

Eagle Eye made my LED tails and as shoedork said, i believe they are more or less the same as the recon. They were plug and play on my 07.

 

I have these same ones as well, they are awesome and very easy to install. Took 5 minutes
