What do you consider bad mileage? If you bought it 'cause you thought it was an over-sized Prius, you thought wrong. All my Dodge trucks have done way better than the F-150 I had for a while. My truck gets ~13 in town and 14-17 on the highway. I use my Mazda to get the 22s.

I get ~15 city, ~20 highway. If I don't want to burn a lot of gas I just drive the mustang. 27 mpg on the highway!
