Default wondering about tire size

hey whats up all, in the next month or so im looking to get new rims and tires.. im looking to put 315/40/26 tires on and im wondering what i will need to do to make sure it doesnt rub (alot) im going to put a 2" leveling kit on the front, to help out or if i should go with a 3" lift. its a 2wd 2006 dodge ram 1500 quad. so anyone that knows about this size of tire or seen them any help is appreciated.. thanks

oh yeah and today i was at a tire place and the guy told me that the tire was going to be smaller and about an inch and a half wider than the one i have on my truck now (factory 20's with 33" tire i believe) but online it says the tire is 35.9 inches tall (pirelli scorpion 315/40/26)

IMO that rim is tooooo big but if you wanna run them a 3' body lift and a level should be fine dont forget longer shocks

and BTW you can put a big lift and tires on it just cause its a 2wd doesent stop you from makin it a monster truck. will look better than 26'rims and would probably be cheaper
