wondering about tire size
hey whats up all, in the next month or so im looking to get new rims and tires.. im looking to put 315/40/26 tires on and im wondering what i will need to do to make sure it doesnt rub (alot) im going to put a 2" leveling kit on the front, to help out or if i should go with a 3" lift. its a 2wd 2006 dodge ram 1500 quad. so anyone that knows about this size of tire or seen them any help is appreciated.. thanks
oh yeah and today i was at a tire place and the guy told me that the tire was going to be smaller and about an inch and a half wider than the one i have on my truck now (factory 20's with 33" tire i believe) but online it says the tire is 35.9 inches tall (pirelli scorpion 315/40/26)

haha yeah thats what im going for, since its only a 2wd and i cant put a big lift with big tires might as weel do big rims.. the guy at tirekingdom told me it should fit fine with a leveling kit but i was just wondering if anyone on the forum had exp with this tire size and what it would take to put them on without any rubbing
