Question stock hp for a 05 1500 ram hemi....

what is the approximate stock hp for a 2005 dodge ram 1500 with a hemi? i had a magnaflow muffler welded on with a turndown to my exhaust to get some goooooood sound and it sounds so wimpy. its not loud in the slightest bit.... so i was think of uppin my exhaust to 3 inch but ive heard for every 100 hp u make u should have 1 inch of an exhaust... any thoughts?

Factory pipes are close to 3 inches....which length magnaflow did you get? Shorter the louder...I have the 18" and it's pretty loud with the resonators removed. If you still have the resonators on remove them.

Rediculous...its all in what a engines power band is like, how it performs on the business end and ultimately its application. Example...i have a 2.25 exhaust on my yota (22RE engine, 2.4L 4 banger!!!) and she barely pushes a 100 horse. Its a muddin truck for the most part and im hittin high rpm's until im out, or get stuck so the 2.25 as opposed to 1.75 stock diameter really helps at higher rpm's.
