Id say magnaflow because you get more power from them but flowmasters are louder to me

Keep the resonator & throw on a short Magnaflow. That's exactly what I had done to mine & it sounds great (I get compliments on it all the time). Has a nice ballsy sound when you get into it, but just more of a gutsy rumble @ idle & light throttle.

You can get FM in SS also.

x2. I have an electric cutout also and absolutely love it. And having that option to control it is something you cannot have with a fixed exhaust like every one else is suggesting.

I found some more vid/sound on Youtube:
- Magnaflow - mellow, little bit of rumble
- Aero - Almost more..... shrill?... when revving
- Flowmaster - louder than I want

All of these taken with a huge grain of salt because sound quality varies widely.

As far as a cutout, I think anything close to an open exhaust will be way to loud, and I might get dinged on emissions checks.
