I was wondering if anyone else has problems with the goodyear hps that come from dodge. Mine seem to have a shifted belt or some other type of defect. I was wondering if it was just my tires with about 50k in them or if it is a common problem with these tires

Yup, pretty much everyone has problems with them. 50k is high mileage for them. Use search feature to find more info on the HP's or to research new tires. Welcome to DF.

 

They are universally known as the worst tire ever.

 

Dodge told my dad that they used "high performance tires" on his Magnum that only had a life expectancy of 15k miles.

Dodge must get commission from tire shops.

Yep, bad tires. But you did good to get 50k out of yours. I think I got just over 30k with mine.

No problem here ,on my 2nd set. Im getting 65000 on mine.

 

First thing I did to the truck afterr I bought it in 05', replace the tires!!!! Had to wait a bit before I could but the second I had the money saved those tires were GONE!!!!
