questions on plans for my ram
hi everyone, im brad im new to this site. this is the first forum i have signed up on and im hoping i can get some help with my truck... i have an 06' ram 1500 hemi v8. i have exhaust, flowmaster, and no cats. and i am getting new headers... i have been doing some reaserch on chips for my truck but im not sure what to go with. i want to no if anyone has any input on what chip can amximize my horsepower and torque, and at the same time help sync with my exhaust and headers. any advice i would appreciate. thank you

First of all, welcome to the forum, before you get roasted to hard, I want to mention the following. There is a section in this forum known as FAQ, which means frequently asked questions. This will include your basic performance upgrades like your chips, intakes, headers, and what not. This area is kinda of known as the bible for information.
The superchip programmer for our trucks, 3865(?), is a popular programmer. This is because it comes with great tunes, and the drive ability is phenomenal. You will see 'in the pants' performance, as well as MPG's with the three given tunes.
Diablo Predator, is also a great programmer. However it does have its down falls, including replacing your transmission. Known to blow our trannies. If you have the right parts to compliment the tunes, go for the diablo.

This is a great place that is FULL of valuble info that can save you lots in labor charges If you are inclined to DIY. On the other hand it can cost you alot cuz we LOVE TO MOD!!!
