Default 2006 Ram QC Front Seat/Center Console

Hello all,
I was hoping someone has already done this, or has some experience with it. I just purchased a subwoofer box that will replace my lower storage and center front seat

http://www.supercrewsound.com/commer...d=147&catId=53

Do I need to pull the entire front seat out (driver, center and passenger as 1 unit). If so, any ideas or suggestions on the best way to do it?

Does anyone have this box or similair installed and how do you like it?

Thanks for your help in advance

Ive never actually removed it but i did look in that area before looking into the factory console. If i saw things correctly, you can remove the center seat without removing the whole thing leaving the brackets in for mounting. It just looked alot simpler taking the whole seat out first just for ease of work.

the middle section of the bench seat is separate form the driver and passenger seat. the center is held in place by 4 bolts at the corners. its a very easy removal.

Default finally installed

Well the sub box is finally installed. It replaced the lower storage comparment under the arm rest. The arm rest, than bolts back on to the subwoofer box. I was a bit disappointed in the box, but thats beside the point. The box raised the arm rest about 3 inches, but sounds awesome. The headrest monitors are also installed now and look great. Center console was a little bit of a pain to get out, and back in, but other than that a pretty smooth installation.

I got mine from a salvage yard out of a Quad cab and it pretty much bolted right into my Megacab. Just had the rear air vent to contend with because there was no provision for the vent, but a little creative cutting and it was good to go.
