Default Factory Infinity

Does anyone know if the factory head units have a tendency to fail often. I just noticed that my left rear speaker is not working. I pulled the speaker to test it and it does work so I'm not sure if it is the radio or amp. Anyone know any quick tests? I'll probably have to pull out the radio to check connections, but it is the only speaker that doesn't work.

hahaha. RB... your truck is seven years old man. I think its allowed to start failing you after 6 years. typically after its paid off from original owner. Vehicles just arent made the way they used to be, seriously.

I sold my original head unit to some china-man who wanted to put it in his boat.

I love the factory unit also. Ilike the steering wheel controls too. Yep left rear door speaker...took it out and it works in my aftermarket system in my car so its either the radio itself or between the speaker and radio. Do they run speaker wires along the door sills?

Did Wheels do anything in the dash? Where's the comp. located compared to where speaker wires or harness runs. maybe he pinched one under the dash or something. Try that bro.

Want the facotry radio out of my DAk. to try??
