I'm thinking when I get back to work I'm going to install the demon eyes in my headlights and fog lights. I'll think they'll look pretty awesome and definitely be unique. I have been doing a lot of research about HID kits and they vary more in price than in quality. You can pay a lot more and get a smaller ballast designed for motorcycles but why when there's plenty of room on your truck. I know a place you can get HID kits for $70 with lifetime warranty on bulbs and ballasts. The kits I've seen for $70 and $160 are just as good quality as the $500 kit I removed from a car.

I think if I were 18 and only working 15 hours a week I'd be learning to do as much work on my own truck as possible. You'll save a ton of money by doing your own work. There's a video on youtube explaining the whole process to install the angel eyes.

update... i asked if he could give me any deal he could and he said "steve - if you purchase the HIDs in 8000k ( i am overstocked) i will give them to you for 169. That is a savings of 56 dollars."

total is 519 + shipping

Any thoughts?

so for 519, you get the hids and eyes?
sounds pricey. you could probably do the whole setup for around $150 yourself

If you can afford to pay that much then go ahead and do it. It's your opinion of the deal that matters, not ours. $169 is only $10 more than I paid for the kit for my dad's Mercedes.

Hey Jay do you think they will look relatively the same even though I have a different shaped headlight? I saw the pic of the angel eyes for the 02-05 headlights and its hard to tell because it isn't a head-on angle? Also, how did you get that dark tint at the top of your headlight that gives it that aggressivs look? Did you just have someone or yourself tint it a little at the top?
