painting my chrome tool box black but using the roll on bed liner stuff???
you think it will stick??

It should,I've seen it done before.But i don't know if there was a primer coating of some sorts put down first or not.I was thinking of doing the samething to mine.let us know how it works out.

well i got the first coat on her i went with blackk aoutomtive spray paint i tested it on the bottom first and let it dry threw pennies off it and no chips yeeee haaaa

You might want to use some kind of acidic metal prep to etch the chrome & allow adhesion.

EDIT - Never mind... too late now :-)

i had a buddy sandblast it, it was rough as hell now the final coat is on and it is going to sit till tommorow looks great

i think those bedliner spray sticks to about anything. you could paint you whole car with them

Don't do it.. that stuff sucks. I did the bed on my superduty and it was a mistake. That stuff peels off if you look at it wrong in huge chunks.. i did the pre-clean on it and everything.

Looks like you prepped it the right way. Thats all that matter i guess, the prep.

I've never heard anyone complain about the stuff. What brand did you use?
