Never had any problems using window cleaner as long as it's sprayed on a rag and not the tint itself. I've always used the aerosol rather than the plasitc bottles as it has less ammonia. Well, the brand I buy does anyways. it's mainly from the UV rays on cheaper tint as well as the type of saop that's used during installation. Laundry soap will give a pruple haze. Better off using some dish detergent.
