And be an jerk blinding everyone. NO YOU CANNOT USE FACTORY HOUSINGS.
Well you can, but like I said, you'll be blinding everyone and you will be pulled over. You'll get high beamed all the time. I love to turn on my Hella 100watters and blind those oncoming jerk with HID's in their stock headlights.

If you want to be legit and do things the right way. Get some projectors housings. Factory housings scatter light all over the place. HID lights make that 10x worse. It's like driving with your high beams going down the road.

Please don't! Do a search on here for HIDs. There's a huge arguement on it.

You have no idea what you're talking about. I have HIDs in my factory headlights and the light is not everywhere like you claim nor does it blind other drivers.

do you need to adjust where the light gets emitted once you installed the HID's or was it already fine from your stock lights?

X2......

You CANT say that CANNOT be used because they CAN be used. I also have never had anyone flash me except ONE car and that was because it was a dropped cadillac. Well obviously if he is that low and I am riding on 20/22s then no matter what I do my lights will be in his eyes. Alot of the guys who DO get flashed are only because they removed thier headlights to put the bulbs in and they are not set correctly when they put them back in. I went under my truck and put in my bulbs so they never got removed and thus did not need to be reset and adjusted. Now while I agree projectors may look cool and give a more focused "projection" of light, if your headlights are adjusted correctly, you should not have any issues.

And turning on 100watt Hellas to blind someone who is blinding you only makes two blind people on the road driving towards each other and a dangerous situation.

PFFFTTTT...LMAO You just hung yourself
Better sit down lad cause your getting a whoopin!
Do you have any idea how HID actually works?
Do you have any idea how Halogen works?
Forget I asked because CLEARLY you don't.

Halogen lights have a chrome backround which reflects the light and make the beam brighter and wider and more direct. if you've ever pulled up to a garage or a brick wall you would see bits of scattered light above and beyond the actual direct beam. When you put HID's in Halogen housings the scattered bits of lights are multiplied by 10x the amount and 10x the brightness.

If you had any kind of a brain you would know that HID housings have a plate that blocks the light from going above a certain point. They also have a "step" which runs a little higher for side road visibility. HID light pattern is cut off so clean you can mark it with a pencil when pulled up to a wall. Try and so that with your Halogen housings. Won't happen. The beam is not focused nor cut. It's just amplified and blurry if you will.
There's a reason HID's are illegal in any car that doesn't have them from the factory. because they BLIND oncoming traffic.
Projector housings have a focused beam that directs the light to a specific area. No refractions, no chrome backround to bounce off of.
If you did a SEARCH you would knwo, but that's obviously not the case.
That is the main reason i put my Hellas in my truck. To blind inconsiderate know-it-alls like yourself.

Better do a search before you snap back too. I'd crush you just for the fun of it....lol
