Default Superchip Question

whats up everyone. this is my first post. I was just wondering if it would be ok to use the 2007 dodge ram 4.7L superchip on my 2008 dodge ram 4.7L? I checked the website, and they stopped making the 4.7L superchip after the 2007 models. I want to have more fun with my ram.

I dont know if it will work or not, plug it in and give it a try. If it's not compatable, it wont let you do anything. If you are looking for a new superchip, send them an e-mail before you buy one.

Thanks. Also do you guys have any other suggestions for performance mods for the 2008 dodge ram. I couldnt come up with many options. I have drop in k@n filter, flowmaster 40 series duals. I just hit my factory warranty limit, so my options are open. I was thinking headers!

No, it won't work. The 4.7L in the 08s is different from previous models and uses a different control program. The superchips will probably not recognize the tune, and if it even could write to your engine computer, you risk damaging the engine.
