So I should just keep the 5.7 and just mod that? What chip can I use to surpass the limiter?

I heard you could drop in 4 hemis and have one engine for each tire! LOL....

Even if it was a pretty easy swap over to a 6.1, is that extra .4L of displacement really goign to make that big a difference?

Fake or not, what caught my eye is the flooding & salvage title. Never going to be even close to blue book due to the title, and the flooding just screams of electrical problems now and/or in the future.

An engine swap especially a 6.1l will run into the thousands $$$$. Your better off getting a Procharger system for $5k and runnin a safe 6psi. that'll get you another 100hp at the crank and will blow any 6.1L out of the water.

My Vortech SQ trim blower with 8psi jumped my stang up nearly 200rwhp, but I had a custom dyno and LT headers and a few other things that accented it. The Centrifugal S/C'er will get you better city mileage too. Driving around town, other than the minor whistle you'd never know you had one. You only get the power when you go up in rpms into boost, but for a DD, a Centri or Turbo would be better than a 6.1L swap any day of the week. I bet you'd see 15mpg's city with one. My stang when it was at 475rwhp(550crank) was getting almost 23city/25highway when going easy and when going into boost I would get like 8mpg's.....lol

That was kinda my point, is the expense of putting in a 6.1 for only an extra .4L worth it, when you consider the other mods that you could do for the same money. And DirtyDog, you hit it on the head once again...
