Default Hemi swap or Hemi mod

ok so i heard of this ram that had its truck 5.7 hemi swapped out for a car 5.7 hemi, and it was a big change in speed.....i was thinking of doing this but swapping my truck 5.7 for a car 6.1 hemi instead of another 5.7 so it could be worth the swap...its either this or mod my trucks 5.7 hemi, ive heard that the car hemi's are better than the truck hemi's in speed and how they are programmed, so which one would be a better idea? time is not a factor

there is no way a car hemi is better. if you want to do any type of swapping, get a SRT 8.1 V10 from another ram. the car hemi are designed much different and im not sure it will fit. truck engines are built to haul your big ram around.

I didn't think there was much difference except the intake manifold. They make basically the same power & torque.

The 09 Ram should have used the 6.1 Hemi in place of the 5.7.

Dude do it!.......aaaahahahahahaaa
Minimal changes are made from car to truck. the engines are bilt on the same assembly line. Minor Cam differences and intake changes. That's it.

A power wagon with a Hemi swap tells me it possibly had the 5.9L????

YUP. Looks like a Reman block actually and a Cast one too unless there's a new way of painting aluminum blocks? They are alumin. right??? i never paid attn to mine? My silverado had a fully aluminum block so does my Mustang
The 6" lift or whatever it is looks silly with those donut tires.

Guys full of it..."Motor drives great you can feel the extra power"...pffffft i would hope so.
14k and a bad piston with no warranty???? hmmmmm
