Ok, I guess I was not explaining myself correctly. It does not work. I need to know where these wires go or it will be for sale.

First of all, welcome to the 12,000 lb club. You dont NEED 12,000 lbs, but it sure is nice when you get yourself in a pickle, or better yet, a friend.

I leave my truck running when the winch is running. A winch is a 'self recovery' tool, therefore designed to be used when truck is running.

Post some pics. This will help us understand. If hammer cant figure out what wires your talking about, pics will help a bunch. Im running a mile marker, wiring colors are different.

BTW... seems to be the best pic I have available right now...
