im tellin ya man its gota be in the tone rings the only way to get that truck running again is to either swap out the tone rings which is a big job in itself cause the crank and cam gota come out or take the wiring harness and pcm out of the other truck and install it in yours either way its hard man, and i hear ya on the rareness of these 4.7's i just installed a rebuilt and im a mechanic so i got the engine at cost and it was still $3000 canadian. its brutal but its fresh ponys under the hood pop off that valve cover on the right side of the engine (if your sitting in the drivers seat its on the passenger side) and count the winows on the camshaft, remember 16 windows its old style 4.7 if there is 24 its new style 4.7, in 2003 chrysler completely revamped the 4.7 to improve it so an 03 4.7 wont work in an 02 without changing more parts im sorry if this is the case and if you lived in the same town as me i would definately help you to get it running, keep me posted
