Default Adding foglights to my 2004 1500

Hey guys, I have a 2004 Ram SLT 1500 4X4 Quad Cab 4.7, it doesn't have factory foglights, but I want to add them. I've done the research on here and have determined that I need the kit with the lights, trim and switch, I found a factory OEM kit that includes everything I need for around $120 plus shipping, my question being, is that my best option, or does someone know of someplace I can get it cheaper?

thanks

that is about the best price for an OEM set I have seen. That is what I paid for mine.

Your SLT should already be wired for fog lights. You need the kit that includes the lights with bezels, bumper harness to connect the lights to the main harness and the switch. $120 sounds about right. I don't know if your 2004 needs the lights turned on in the computer like my 2007.

My SLT is pre-wired, and its an 04.

Make sure you buy the bezels too. $120 seems to be about right. Ive heard also you might have to have them activated by dealership. Install them, see what happens. If dealer charges you, might be another $40.

If you buy the complete Mopar kit it will come with the replacement bezels.

My 07 SLT didn't come with fog lights but I bought the kit and installed them. Really simple to do and then a trip to the dealer to turn them on in the computer.

I also added mine (Mopar kit) I had to have the dealer turn mine on. Do a search on here, I listed the dealer I got mine from and how much I paid. Good luck
