Cleaned my throttle body today.

I got it from Dan (the fastman). He bored it out to I believe 87mm but I will have to double check to make certain that is the new bore diameter.

umm dedog i think your talkin about throttle body spacers, yes those are a waste of money better as a paper weight, now a bigger bored throttle body is well worth the money if put together with other mods.. headers,cam, tuner exc..exc..

Heard you can disconnect the MDS. Is this true & if so, how is it done?

Get a tuner that can turn it off.

so does anyone know what the stock throttle body diameter is? lookin at moes right now..... NM is seen on fastmans site 80 is stock

What would you guys recommend on mileage to clean the TB. I don't think mines ever been done unless the owner before me had it done. I'm nearing the 60000kms mark

ok so now im confused. should i use brake cleaner or carb/TB cleaner? i stopped by autozone yesterday and grabbed a bottle of carb cleaner but now im wondering if i need to go get some brake cleaner?

oh yeah and my 180 thermostat will be here today so hopefully i can get that in to! woohoo!
