Default Sterio Problems

I have 2 Rockford Fosgate P2 10's wired up to a sony xm-sd22x amp. Here is a link to specs on the amp.
http://reviews.digitaltrends.com/rev...x-review-specs
The problem is that when Im driving after about 30 to 45 minuets the subs will just cut in and out. It will got out for 3-5 seconds then come back in but keep doing this. Its very annoying!!! The sound still plays throught the speakers and the head unit works fine just like it is supposed to. The amp has a fault light to come on if there is a problem and when the subs are going in and out the light dosnt come on. I just got this stuff installed proffesonally about a month ago. The only thing not new is the amp Ive had it for a while but they said it should be fine. And idea what is going on???

check your wiring, if you ran the wires under the truck follow the exhaust, and if you ran it through the firewall look at your headers/manifold. That is a loose connection or short (my power wire rubbed my headers in my ford and would short out on right turns haha)

I checked every wire and fuse and they are all in perfect condition.

hmm check the amp when under stress, run a bass test CD for awhile with them all the way up. The amp should click or heat up pretty good if it is going out, and if it is the subs I think they would always be cutting in and out, not just 30 minutes after warming up

yea I would take it in, if they are a good shop they should fix it for free as long as you didn't cause it. They will be able to diagnose the amp/subs being blown pretty quick if thats the problem
