do a diff fluid exchange and make sure there is nothing wrong in there.

planned on changing the fluid, what could be wrong in the diff to cause this knock?

sounds like it could be a dried up bushing maybe for your rear end or a tranny mount?

Ohh, MikeHTally, Fuel satabilizer really only lasts for 6months topps. 2 years of anything would cause gumming.
I would highly reccomend throwing in a bottle of Lucas Injector cleaner in for the first 2 tanks to clean up everything that may be still in there.

Don't be scared to check the axle bearings. had a 04 dakota make the same noise, every now and then sure enough had one bearing out.
