Default hemi tune up kit

did you guys know mopar has a pretty decent tuneup kit for the hemi's? was looking up something for my own truck today and saw it listed. Says it comes with Air/oil filter, plugs, and pcv valve and its like $67 dealer cost.. i was amazed since buying all that crap separate comes in at almost $100 and retails for like $150 usually for it all. Has anyone gotten this kit before? dont want to to order it to find out it has generic filters or something stupid. pretty sure i need plugs as it is and seems like i might as well do the pcv valve as well and put the filters on the shelf..

By "dealer cost" do you mean that's what the dealers pay or that's what it costs if you buy it from the dealer? If it's what the dealers pay, expect I'd it to be doubled for us...
If it is our cost, that isn't that bad of a deal - 7 quarts of dino oil would probably be $25-30, filter is about $5-10, PCV valve is cheap, and plugs are about $30 from what I've heard... However, I run synthetic, and I doubt they have such a good price on that.

all it is, is a kit with new pcv vaulve paper filter and new champion plugs and a oil filter.
most on hear dont buy it due to the fact they are running aftermarket CAI and use a good filter. only thing that kit is good for is the plugs and hell you can get them at any auto place for 1 dolar a peice. the cost you are showing is a dealer cost so double that and that is what you will pay not worth it IMO

I'm thinking that is what the dealer is paying for the kit. I can't imagine they would let all that stuff go for that price. Dealers usually like to put a big markup on things which I can't believe $67 reflects.

by cost, what the dealer has into it ordering from chrysler... I would pay 10% over that so around $73 + tax. These are all costs
090 filter-$4.10
plugs-$2.05EA x16= 32.80
Air filter- $17.45
and i know the pcv valves from mopar are expensive, like $30-35(havent sold one in a few months)

Default Quick question

My father in law needs a tune up. I have a 2003 Ram and am unfamiliar with the 2007 1500 Mega Cab 4x2 with Hemi. What are all the parts I need to buy? and approx how long would it take to perfom the service myself. I am a pretty decent mechanic.
