i have a 2002 2wd 1500 5.9L what transmission do i have?

 

46RE, 4 speed automatic

1st gear-2.45 to 1
2nd gear-1.45 to 1
3rd gear-1.00 to 1
4th gear(overdrive)-0.69 to 1

I can think for my self. I just couldt find it anywhere all i could fine was the tranny for the 5.9L diesel

 

I feel your pain Bull, I have the same truck just in 4wd and I know how hard it can be to find stuff for the "5.9 Gas" every search you do wants to bring up info for the diesel. However you just have to search harder. The guys on here really don't like double posts, and if you think they won't remember they will I promise. For the Tranny TheForce55555 was right I have that Tranny in my Truck (Rebuild at 85K) make sure you do proper service and take it to the shop at the first sign of any trouble it will save you a lot of cash. Also check out the Second Gerenation side of this site for driveline questions. I have found it to be more useful that way since we basically have the same driveline as them.
