Question Led tails, cold air intake.

yet another question, ok how long do led tail lights last? and when they go out do you have to buy a new pair?? also i live where the weather sometimes drops belo 20 degrees possibly even 15, can i still get a cold air intake? because the weather here reaches around 90 in summer.

I drove in -15 snow this winter with a full K&N intake. No problems, it actually runs better when it is cool. Now I think there is a plateau effect with that, but the colder the air the denser, pushing more O2 into each combustion. Right fellas?

And on the LED tails, an LED bulb lasts quite a bit longer than a halogen, light up faster, and use less juice. Your led tails technically should last longer than your stock tails. And, if one of the 50(or however many) leds go out, you just go to radio shack and put it in the others place. No real drawbacks to them

the LEDs should outlast your truck. I'm not sure if they are wired in series or parallel. My guess is that they wire 4-6 of them in series at a time, so if one goes out, 5 go out. I'd be pretty surprised if you could just take it apart and replace individuals without some trouble. but they should last a LONG LONG TIME

below 15-20? that's nothing. a CAI will be fine in that. A CAI will function as well as a regular intake in any climate except for 'lots of water' climate

What brand, part number and price did you pay? Where did you get them? Thanks in advance!

I bought LED taillights, but I can’t remember what brand. They are ok, but on my right tail, half of the LEDs on the bottom are out as you can see in the picture. I had them for about a year before the LEDs on the right started going out.

With the lights I got, you can’t open them, so I would have to buy whole new tail light assembly, not just new LEDs.
