Default Water sounds

I have this water sound coming from under the hood or in the dash board or something... i start my truck and i can hear it move a little bit... if i really get on it i hear the water rushing through where ever it is.... i don't have the A/C on at all half the time im a 2 60 kind of guy... 2 windows down doing about 60 lol.... anyways thats one problem i can't find and its annoying me.... my second one is my idle is dropping when i sit still to long... it keeps trying to drop below 500 rpm anyone got any ideas on that one?

Your water sounds is an air bubble in the heater core. Your cooling system has sucked in air somewhere and it has all collected in the heater core. You need to find where your leak is that is letting the air in the system then bleed the cooling system. Have a mechanic perform a pressure test on the cooling system to find the leak.

You are either low on coolant or have air in the system.

i had the same thing happen in my monte carlo and I sold the bitch shortly after

i would try bleeding the system to remove any possible air pockets. Just run the truck from cold to fully warm with the cap off. Keep resevoir full when doing so.

Could be a sign of a blown head gasket, too. I know that sound, unfortunately, all too well.

well find out tomorrow i flushed the whole system and filled it up...crossing fingers it doesn't get to that....
