No Start - ASD problem

Default No Start - ASD problem
So i traced my engine cranks over but does not start condition to the ASD relay. i swapped relays and still it did not work. i even borrowed a friend's working PCM and it was still a no go. The ground signal to the ASD relay from the PCM is not present. If i jumper the relay, the truck starts and idles fine.

Any idea why the PCM will not send the ground signal to the ASD relay?

More info such as year and engine would be most helpful.

Sorry guys...it's a 2002 ram 1500 quad cab with the 5.9 liter

So i tried a new crank sensor....still no good...Please help!!

Might need to find the ground wire. Maybe it's been cut,chaffed, or disconnected. if there isn't a good ground the relay will never operate properly.
