Default Flooded Streets

It's been raining like crazy the last couple days in the Houston area, it caused some flash flooding today. This was my first time driving my ram through water and my first time ever driving through water for such a distance (~15miles). When I first started out the water was probably around 6" deep but by the time I got home it was at my doors easily. In the couple places where I was afraid it was too deep I jumped up on the median and hammered on it before any 5-0's saw me.

I snapped this pic of a ford "cross over" at the beginning of my trip.

Ended up being quite the adventure, thought I'd share.

Yeah I had 'er in 4x most of the trip home. I had never thought about how much effort it would take to push through that much water. I stayed around 2k RPM's and was probably only averaging 15 mph.
