Headlight eyelids...
Finally got some good weather to start on them....i just put a fresh coat of primer on them...tomorrow will be the 1st coat of factory matched (by paint code) coat of FLAME RED to match the rest of the truck...I think im going to put 2 or 3 coats on there. and hopefully get them on within a couple days....I had an issue with a trucker last night and came to the decision that maybe these will help with all the light scatter due to my H.I.D.'s.....will post pics when i put them suckers on.

If you don't have projector housings, then your HID light is scattering everywhere. if you do not have a perfectly clean cut line when you pull up against a building, you have scattered light everywhere. Standard halogen has scattered light, but the light isn't near as bright as HID which makes the scattered light very blinding for oncoming cars. Even if you turn them down, the scatter will still be there and be very bright.
If you aren't sure if you have scatteredlight, then you've never seen a true HID projector light beam pattern!

my issue...was...going down I35 from iowa to kc, mo....and passed a trucker and he rode my ***...without pulling my hair btw...lol..and had his brights on....well after an hour of that crap and me slowing down to 45 n a 70...i called 911 and had the Hwy patrol pull him over....and he was complaining bout my headlights....so I figured...if I cap the top of the housing that it should keep the truckers happy too....but with light scattering or not....H.I.D. in my headlamps are awesome, huuuuge improvement
