All I got to say is if I lived in that white house, 'teach, I'd be hanging outside with my trusty shotgun if you drove past like that...

The cutout seems to add a little bit at the top end but I don't have any numbers as far as how much it adds. Install is pretty easy. The wiring is very straight forward, it is just a couple of wires. When I installed the dump pipe I just cut out a section of the intermediate pipe that goes into the muffler and put the dump pipe in the place of the removed piece. Welded it up and it was done.

LOL, I only drive like that bc the house I made the video at is my investment property so I am rarely there. I would never pull that move around the house I live in .

Interesting. So where does the wiring having to be connected to? I like the idea of cutouts, but I'm not much of a fan of the "dumped" look. I've always loved the look of exhaust tips going behind each rear tire. Maybe I could run a very quite muffler system like a flowmaster 50 series. And then when I want it really loud, I could just flip the switch and have it ***** to the wall loud. Is that crazy or does that sound about right?

the wiring goes from the butterfly valve to a switch inside the cab. you cant see the cutout so its not a "dumped" look. or you could always keep the stock exhaust....

Well, I mean dumped look as in hearing a loud vehicle go by with no site of any exhaust tips. But it's something I've got to think about.

You are describing my setup almost exactly. I still have dual tips going out the rear so it looks like a dual exhaust still. That way when I close my cutout the exhaust goes through my super 40 and out. But then I can open the cutout and get the loud open exhaust while keeping the dual exhaust look.

Nice, I really like that. It's something I'll think about. If I'm doing a cutout, I wouldn't have to buy a really loud muffler, which would be nice. That way I don't have to try to find a happy medium muffler. It'd also get my pops off my case, he hates it when my brother and I do all the fancy things to our trucks.
