thanks for helping me out freejay... i guess im just an idiot

its kinda funny, i origionally started this post to show off my new intake, and then i jacked my own thread with my second post.....
I guess homeade intakes are old news because not one word was said about it

thanks for the help on the pics tho, maybe i will figure it out some day, if not someone can always put them up for me

How did you attach the tube to the throttle body. It looks as if there is some strap running behind the TB.

i screwed some eye hooks into it, and planned on using a bunjee cord, but i couldnt find one, so i made one out of an old motorcycle innertube, cut a slot on each end, slipped it over the eye hook, around the tb, and back to the other hook.
it fit really tight to the tb after i wrapped a half a roll of electrical tape around the orange rubber, but i just wanted to make sure.
