03 4.7 true duals?
i have an 03 4.7 and i wanna run true duals....but heres my stock set up..
manifold, then two resinators, one of the resinators has a sensor in front and back of it (the passenger side one) then they join together at one cat under the passenger side...now is it possible to do true duals on this without screwing up the comp, and also i heard a trick that u can do to remove the cat without confusing the comp by puting the o2 sensor in a "clean area"...plz someone help the newb..and yes i checked the FAQs and did other searches on this forum b4 i asked.

I haven't seen any true dual kits for the 4.7 so you'd probably need custom work. Since the 4.7 is a single exhaust I'm not sure if it has 1 or 2 rear O2 sensors. If it only has 1 then you'd probably need a simulator to keep the CEL from popping on. If it has 2 O2 sensors a custom shop could probably drill and tap the pipes for your O2 sensors or you could get 2 Sims and noy worry about it. Sometimes you need Sims with high flow exhaust systems because they end up flowing to fast for the O2 sensor to work right anyway.
how do u think that would sound with the true duals, would it be worth all that hassle to get them...and one more thing if i left the stock setup and got a new muffler like a glass pack would it be worth it to get headers?
