Talking Probably not the right place but had to let you guys know.

When it comes to cleaning our trucks most of us are pretty ****. However when it comes time for the inside of my truck the only thing I couldnt do was clean the carpets and floor mats. I always relied on the dealership to do this for me. Well while I was at wally world last night I saw the Bissell little green machine carpet cleaner. It was like 75 bucks so I said F'it and bought it.

I tried it on my wifes car first since its an 01 and has been through 3 kids since we bought it. Let me tell you the freakin floor mats were disguisting (this is why my kids arent allowed to eat or drink in my truck unless on long road trips). But this little machine took all the grime, food and spilled drinks out. On the driver mat I had to make two passes but it got everything out of the carpet.

I took the car to the dealer about a year ago to get it cleaned and they didnt even come close to getting the carpet as clean as I did. I wish I would have taken before and after pics but I got into a groove and forgot.

I Tried it next on the truck and same result; but my truck isnt near as filthy as the car.

Thought I would let you guys know.

Just a friendly notice... Most carpet cleaners that are sold over the counter like Resolve are the worst things to put on your carpets unless they are highly diluted enough where the mix doesn't feel slippery on your fingers. Chemicals like Resolve stay in your carpet unless you rinse thoroughly. Dried soap in your carpet attracts dirt particles and traps fluids. it actually works opposite of what you would think. I get non-rinse cleaner for my carpets. That means you can apply this stuff and not rinse as it won't suds all up.
I think the one brand I have is called Folex. i buy one gallon jugs. Costs like $12 each. i may have evn bought that one at Homer Dumpo??? It works great for house carpet if you've got kids or dogs.

You can't be afraid to just dump water right on the carpet as you can't scrub a dry spot...lol After your all done, just keep the windows cracked about 1" each and leave the truck on high heat blast for about an hour. Your carpets will be bone dry. i do it all the time. Works well.
I've got a little Bissel Green machine too. i bought it from a hardware store that went outta business a few years back. i apid like $20 for it. Tag said $79.99 Works GREAT!

I have always power washed my mats at the car wash. it works great. the little green would be good for the rest, though.
