Default I'm looking for a dual exhaust system

and since i have a 3.7L i haven't found many options, this is the only one i have found so far...

http://www.stylintrucks.com/part.aspx?partid=522861

unfortunately, i'm not familiar with anything that has to do with exhaust
with that said, is that a good price? is it a good quality product?
it also says that it comes with a super turbo muffler; is that good?
or should i buy the exhaust system and then replace that with something like a flowmaster 40 series

thanks for any advice/help you can give me

I would recommend magnaflow mufflers with a custom setup. If you want sound go with flowmaster or other chambered mufflers, and if you want performance go with magnaflow or straight through mufflers.

thanks for your feedback...
how much of a performance boost does the magnaflow typically create,
and so i should buy a dual exhaust system and just switch out the muffler?

if the magnaflow doesn't increase performance by much i'll probably just go with the flowmaster because it seemed to be the most popular in the 3rd gen ram FAQs muffler section... and i do want it to sound good

You don't really need duals with the v6 unless you are gonna do a lot of modding. If you swap the muffler and the y-pipe that will give much better flow. As for the performance it is hard to tell, but with the v6 it will sound closer to a v8 in lower rpm's w/ the flowmaster. It will always sound like a v6 in the higher rpm's or with the magnaflow, but to me that is not a bad thing. Search derrick's old post on here he has vids of his exhaust which is flowmaster 50 I think, there may be some before he put headers on.

whatever. magnaflows are good for performance and all, but not for our trucks dude. if u run a magna flow, keep it to one dual. cause our trucks react ricidulousy to backpressure changes. i had too much with my 40 series with duals out the back...here are vids. it was so ricey and poppy after like 2200rpms.

when i got the headers, it made the 40series setup sound a bit better, but it still sounded like garbage.

and now i have the 50 series with the same duals out the back...and i like it a lot.

it isn't ricey/poppy at all. keep in mind i'm running an intake and headers, which may affect a lot of it. but i'm sure if u put a 50 series truck/suv muffler on it, it would sound badass.
