i was an advocate for diy cai's until I wanted to go really fast...then just got the ramhammer an have since dropped almost 2 seconds from my 1/4 e.t. (over time)

Unless they've changed it since I bought it, or the 4.7 model is vastly different than the 5.7 model, the hardware to "Mount" it was 2 metal brackets that don't fit anywhere, I ended up having to Zip-Tie it into place just like my DIY intake is, and after 4 months of being on my truck, when I took it off to put my DIY intake on, the blue silicone couplers had dried out and started to crack.

It's your money and your truck, but for someone who's had that intake on my truck, there's NO WAY I would put another one on there. I would keep it stock before putting the chrome intakes on it.
